Primary Responsibility of the Oral Care Consultant:
The purpose of this position is to achieve growth targets set by the Professional Oral Care Business based on; · Equity and Brand Recommended Most Often (BRMO) within the Dental Profession (Dentists and Hygienists) · Sales for Company’s Professional products within the Dental Channel
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and grow the assigned territory; · Establish relationships with the key and relevant contacts within dental accounts to generate new and maintain existing business. · Identify and target opportunities to grow BRMO and Sales based on business objectives. · Monitor the performance of the territory and accounts and seek to identify any new opportunities or close gaps/implement remedial action to achieve target metrics. · Professional calls o Successfully execute specific brand/indication strategies based on business requirements to achieve specific BRMO and sales targets o Employ a professional selling/detailing approach including pre-call planning, preparation, diagnosis of needs, active listening and questioning, turning objectives into results o Effectively promote and communicate Company’s Oral Care products features and benefits highlighting main selling points through detailing aids and clinical information to convert or maintain customers to drive BRMO and/or sales o Deliver professional sales support and educational/training to specified practices/clinics o Represent Company in industry events/conferences and other major promotional events (including some weekends and domestic travel)
Qualifications:

· Prefer dental qualifications (eg. Hygienist) or relevant Science background, Business degree or BSc also considered · Minimum 2 years dental experience or similar professional industry and/or minimum 2 years territory management or account responsibility · Expert proficiency in Microsoft applications and holder of a current motor vehicle license. · Travel - 30% domestic (overnight), some travel to the US (requires a valid passport) · Demonstrated competencies - business and sales/detailing acumen, effective execution, consumer/customer focus, communication skills, planning/priority setting, teamwork/collaboration, relationship building, analysis/decision making, self awareness/personal impact.
