Our Client is a consulting firm that provides specialist
services in Geotechnical, Hydrogeological and environmental
engineering to contractors, builders, municipalities, governments, engineering
consultants, developers, architects,conservation authorities and homeowners throughout Eastern
Ontario. They are currently looking for an Intermediate or Senior Hydrogeologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join their team.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Principals of
the company and will be responsible for the following areas:
- Provide consulting services in hydrogeology, environmental
engineering and related disciplines on projects.
- Oversee and grow the hydrogeology and environmental group.
- Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments.
- Site remediation.
- Certificate of Approval and Permit to Take Water
Applications.
- Rural groundwater supply development and communal well
supplies.
- Wellhead protection studies.
- Compliance monitoring.
- Actively market the services of the company.
- Responsible for preparation of proposals, project
organization and administration, and implementation and
technical accuracy of projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Require B.Sc. in hydrogeology, M.Sc. preferred
- Proven technical and project management skills, and
consulting experience.
- Strong English written and verbal skills are required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- The preferred candidate will be self-motivated, energetic
and well organized, with a proven ability to multi-task in a
fast-paced environment.
