There is currently an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, resourceful and talented individual for the role of Human Resources Manager. This position is based in our Toronto, ON office and reports into the Vice President, Human Resources.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:    

 

The Human Resources Manager will play a key role building the clinical trails organization from the ground up. Working closely with senior management to ensure consistent high standards of service and commitment, you will design and develop an integrated HR services department. You will play a vital role in guiding and supporting the HR team and employees, whilst coordinating HR activities such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits and employee services. You will be responsible for bringing Best HR Practices into a well-funded start-up environment.

Skills

The successful candidate must have at least 7 years experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years operating at a managerial level. Experience in the healthcare/clinical trials or pharmaceutical industry is essential. You will have a proven track record of developing and managing HR functions in a corporate setting. You must have a sound working knowledge of labour laws, rules and regulations as well as excellent communication skills in English. The selected candidate will have excellent leadership, communications and team-building skills. They will be able to work independently and be highly motivated and passionate about their work. Previous experience in building an organization from the ground-up would be an asset.
