We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, resourceful and talented individual for the role of Senior Web Designer. This position is based in our Toronto, ON office.
We seek a highly motivated, creative team-player who has the vision to design and build a world class website from the ground up and work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment. The opportunity to grow and work with team dedicated to excellence is here!
The Senior Web Designer / Developer will be involved in creating and building a high quality promotional website with a data driven backend for Internet and Intranet usability and for designing and authoring web pages from conception through to completion. He/she will test work and provide troubleshooting on different web browsers and will also develop various graphical user interfaces for database input. He/she will interface and coordinate with stakeholders to assure page making and page effectiveness are optimal. Additionally, the Web Designer / Developer will be involved in creating and building quality front ends for Internet and Intranet usability and for designing and authoring web pages from conception through to completion. He/she will test work and provide troubleshooting on different web browsers and will also develop various graphical user interfaces for database input. He/she will interface and coordinate with stakeholders to assure page making and page effectiveness are optimal.
Usability, intuitiveness, elegance are paramount. Please be prepared to show your portfolio.
Skills/experience:
- Flash
- JavaScript/AJAX
- DIV/CSS
- web-based UI technologies experience
- Exposure to Web 2.0 technology (i.e., Ajax) would be an asset.
- Graphic design background would be an asset or exposure to designing websites.
- Adept communicator, good documentation skills, detail-oriented
