Manager, Business Process Re-engineering
Our client, a leading IT consulting firm requires a senior Manager to lead the Business Process Re-engineering/Management Practice. This role will require someone who can work with executive leaders and stakeholders. They also will be accountable for methodology, tools, standards and knowledge capture for business process re-engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing strategic and practical advice to IT and business leaders
• Facilitating the Business Process Re-engineering/Management process
• Evaluating the current business and IT environments to identify requirements, vulnerabilities and opportunities
• Developing and managing strong relationships with clients at all levels
• Supporting the development of methodologies and tools to support delivery
• Leading the development of the Business Process Re-engineering/Management Offerings
• Providing business development support and identifying opportunities for downstream engagements
• Preparing proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) for client engagements
• Overall responsibility for the personal and professional development of business analysts
• Responsible for developing and maintaining methodology, processes, best practice and standards, and ensuring they are used appropriately by team
• Provide project consultancy on methodology, documentation and approach
• Develop, maintain and deliver the Business Process Re-engineering/Management practice plan
• Identify, propose, sell and lead BPR/BPM engagements for clients
Required Skills and experience;
• BPR/BPM development and implementation planning
• Expertise in areas such as Six Sigma, Lean, RUP, UML, Agile and other Business Analysis techniques, tools and processes
• Familiarity with the issues associated with managing IT in large, complex organizations
• Minimum of five years of experience leading BPR/BPM practice
• Minimum of ten years of experience in consulting
• Ability to support business development through proposals and client presentations
• Industry and business research, assessment and insight development
Bachelor level education in a technical degree
Experience within multiple industries – particularly large enterprises
Experience with BPR/BPM with relevant examples
Familiarity with a broad range of computer hardware and software, application development and processes
Candidates must be able to:
• Travel within the GTA and surrounding areas with occasional travel (30%) outside of the GTA
